The Hawth’s pantomime for 2014/15, Sleeping Beauty drew more than 27,000 people to the Crawley venue during it’s three week run. That’s a staggering 94% of all the available seats for the show.
Sleeping Beauty starred TV favourite Stephen Mulhern, alongside CBeebie’s Cat Sandion and impressionist Hilary O’Neil.
The smash hit pantomime had all the ingredients of a perfect festive family treat – with glamour, romance, comedy, song, audience participation and stunning special effects. It even included a terrifying fire-breathing dragon called Helga!
Reviews for Sleeping Beauty

“With Jack and the Bean Stalk coming next year, audiences should start collecting the magic beans and wish that next year’s performance is as good as this offering.” Essential Surrey
Feedback from audiences throughout the Sleeping Beauty run was overwhelmingly positive and came from all directions with families taking the time to stay behind and comment in person. Hundreds took to Facebook and Twitter, with feedback like, “you’ve done it again… another fantastic Panto!!! Went with the family yesterday and we all loved it!! Absolutely amazing!!
