Dangerous Games | Lord of the Dance | Tour Dates

MICHAEL FLATLEY begins his farewell tour next month at London’s Dominion Theatre

Dangerous Games

Dangerous gamesFollowing a sold out run at the London Palladium in 2014, Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games is returning to the West End at the Dominion Theatre from 13 March.

Due to unprecedented demand, Flatley is scheduled to make a special appearance from 13 to 24 March at the Dominion Theatre, paving the way for new young superstar James Keegan, who will be performing the lead role of Lord of the Dance.

Flatley will then return to Dangerous Games at the Dominion on Friday and Saturday evenings only from 8 May to 27 June inclusive.  He wanted to come back and give these extra performances, as he had to cancel several appearances when his father passed away in March.

His only performances in a multi-date UK tour will be at the Brighton Centre from 2 to 5 April, where the tour begins, and at the Wembley Arena on 4 July, where the tour ends.

Michael Flatley said, “These will be my final performances in the UK and Ireland. After years of punishment, my body just can’t take any more!”

Nadine Coyle (Girls Aloud) will reprise the role of Erin the Goddess at the Dominion Theatre, London for 10 performances only from 13 to 21 March (performance dates below).

Nadine features on the soundtrack of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games, which features all the music from the stage show, including three original vocal tracks performed by Nadine. The soundtrack will be available soon.Nadine Coyle in LORD OF THE DANCE

Flatley’s new show Dangerous Games has exciting and ground-breaking new technology, including holographs, dancing robots, world champion acrobats and the greatest team of Irish Dancers in the world. A new score composed by Gerard Fahy, new costumes and special effects lighting add a breath-taking new dimension to the original masterpiece.

The global phenomenon that is Lord of the Dance will be bigger than ever in 2015, with Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games on a 200-plus date tour across 15 countries over the next 18 months. In the UK, the show will be performing concurrently in London at the Dominion Theatre from 13 March to 5 September and on a UK Tour from 2 April to 4 July.

“My dancers are the real stars,” says Michael of his troupe of dancers, some of whom have been with the company for 10 years. He is immensely proud of their hard work and dedication, and to bring the show back to the West End in the magnificently refurbished Dominion Theatre is a dream come true: “I’ve always dreamed of bringing my show to the West End and the response of the audience when we performed at the Palladium last year was exhilarating. We just had to come back to the West End. The Dominion is such a fine theatre; its layout is perfect for our type of show.”
