TRANSFERS TO THE ST. JAMES STUDIO
‘Apartment 40C’ transfers to the St. James Studio from 6th April – 12th April, 2015 (Easter week) following its sell-out run at the London Theatre Workshop last year.
‘Apartment 40C’ is a sophisticated bitter-sweet story. Set in a New York apartment it examines a couple’s relationship through their decades of love, happiness, regret and loss. The emotionally powerful lyrics and melodies engage on every level to reveal how fate, change and choice play out within any past and present relationship. Everyone will identify with one of the characters.
‘Apartment 40C’ has been re-worked since its highly acclaimed run last year and more songs have been added to the beautifully written book and score.
The cast includes: Alex Crossley, Alex James Ellison, Johnjo Flynn, Lizzie Wofford, Nova Skipp and Peter Gerald.
The show’s co-writers, Ray Rackham and Tom Lees, are the Artistic Directors of the London Theatre Workshop in Fulham where they are currently running ‘Yarico‘, a successful new musical by John and Jodie Kidd.
Ray Rackham and Tom Lees are the team behind London Theatre Workshop’s inaugural production of Adam Gwon’s ‘Ordinary Days’. They were nominees for Best Director of a New Production of a Play or Musical (Rackham) and Best Musical Director of a Fringe Musical (Lees) at last year’s BroadwayWorld Awards for ‘Ordinary Days’, which itself was nominated in the Best Musical category at both the BroadwayWorld and Off-West End Theatre Awards.
