Hever Festival 2015
The Hever Festival Theatre provides an idyllic setting for a wonderful summer’s evening of socialising in the evening sunshine combined with top quality entertainment. The open air venue is set in a magical location in the award winning gardens of Hever Castle in Kent. The stage is fully covered, and the seating is tiered with the vast majority of seats under brand new seating canopies, which means if the sun doesn’t shine, the audience still can enjoy the spectacular setting with protection from the weather.
The gates open at 1.45pm for matinees, and close at 6pm allowing plenty of time to enjoy the gardens and lake, and for younger audience members to let off steam in the adventure playgrounds after enjoying a fantastic family show. This season we have a magical and mischievous production of ‘The Tales of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny’ on 6th August, and a new adaptation of children’s classic ‘The Jungle Book’ on 19th August. For those who enjoy coming out to the theatre in the daytime we have matinees of two highly acclaimed plays ‘Fallen Angels’ by Noel Coward on Friday 31 July and ‘The Pitman Painters’ by Lee Hall on Friday 14 August.
