London Theatre Workshop | 1st-13th September
Jason Robert Brown’s
Parade
This new staging marks the first professional UK production since 2011
For a strictly-limited two week run (1–13 September), this exciting new revival will play the intimate London Theatre Workshop with a talented and versatile cast of 13 actors in multiple roles.
Parade tells the true story of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory owner, who is put on trial for the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan. Desperate for someone to blame, the people of Atlanta convict him, but his wife stands by his side through it all, sure of his innocence.
Originally staged on Broadway and in London at the Donmar Warehouse, the multi-Olivier nominated show features music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, the virtuosic composer of “Last Five Years” “Songs For a New World” “The Bridges of Madison County” and book by Academy Award winner Alfred Uhry, screenplay writer of “Driving Miss Daisy”.
