Cinderella Panto Launch – Tunbridge Wells

The rain may have been teaming down but the spirits were high as the cast of Cinderella due to play at the Assembly Hall Tunbridge Wells met the press at the beautiful Chiddlestone Castle in Kent last week.

Cinderella is probably the most well known and loved of all pantomimes. What’s not to like? A beautiful girl dreaming of a handsome Prince, two outrageous sisters with dozens of costume changes, a magical fairy godmother, and the promise that if you wish hard enough, your dreams may just come true.

Tracey Beaker star Dani Harmer will lead the cast in the title role of Cinderella who will be swept off her feet by her handsome Prince Charming, played by Owen Thompson with the help of Louise Jameson as the Fairy Godmother and her faithful friend Buttons played by Nickelodeon star Jamie Rickers.

Ugly Sister’s David Ball and Byron Mondahl were also present looking resplendant (if a little flamboyant) in their elaborate costumes. Good friends on stage and off they look forward to playing the famous Sisters for UK Productions for the 5th year in a row.

Unfortunately the adorable Shetland ponies that will draw Cinders’ fairtale carriage were cancelled due to the rain, but in the newly refurbished Assembly Halls they will certainly bring yet another ‘Wow Factor’ to the show.

Cinderella runs from Friday 11th December until Sunday 3rd January at the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells. Booking details here
