Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs
By Giles Andrea and Russell Ayto
Presented by Les Petits Theatre Company
UK Tour: Monday 16th February – Sunday 31st May 2015
Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs are setting sail on a new adventure in 2015 following a rollicking award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London Wonderground and Southbank Centre!
This is a bright sparky production, filled with hum-along songs, beautiful puppets and a lot of imagination (Time Out). Based on the award-winning book by Purple Ronnie creator, Giles Andrea and Russell Ayto, Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs has been adapted for the stage by Nicole Lewis and Oliver Lansley, and was originally directed by Emma Earle.
When Flinn discovers a pirate hiding in the school supply closet, it’s all aboard, me hearties, for a real live pirate adventure! Captain Stubble needs Flinn’s help to find his stolen ship, but there are some mean pirate dinosaurs on the loose, and Flinn and his friends soon sail into trouble… Will fearless Flinn be able to captain the ship and defeat the pirate dinosaurs? Will Pirate Pearl be brave enough to battle the dangerous dinos and will terrified Tom be back in time for tea?
All aboard for a non-stop action-packed theatrical experience with live music, puppetry, physical performance and dastardly dinosaurs!
This super story is brought perfectly to the stage with imagination, creativity and really excellent props (Curious Mum).
Adults and Children alike with be delighted (Edinburgh Spotlight).
