Dorking Halls Panto Dance Auditions
Dance auditions for Dorking Halls’ Christmas panto Jack and the Beanstalk are being held on Sunday 5 September at the Priory School in Dorking.
Production company Enchanted Entertainment is once again looking for talented youngsters to appear alongside the line-up of professional actors, which includes Stevi Ritchie from the X-Factor and Celebrity Big Brother.
To ensure everyone is kept safe, auditions will take place in smaller groups and timed slots throughout the day. The audition for 8-9 year olds takes place at 10am; 10-11 year olds at 12 noon; 12-13 year olds at 2pm; 14-15 year olds at 4pm, and ages 16+ at 6pm. Children are asked to arrive 10 minutes before their audition time.
In a change to previous years, parents/guardians must register their children online at www.pantodanceauditions.co.uk to guarantee their place.
The deadline to register is Saturday 4 September.
Guy Pascall, Artistic Director of Enchanted Entertainment, said: “This is a great opportunity for young rising stars, and a huge amount of fun. We are looking for all-round performers who are passionate about acting, singing and dancing. The young ensemble is such an important part of the show. There is no need to prepare anything in advance – children just need to arrive with lots of energy and enthusiasm.”
