The Hawth’s 2025 Summer Season Announced

A new season is here! The Hawth’s 2025 Summer Season has just been announced and it’s packed full of fantastic shows for everyone to enjoy in the coming months.

There is music for all tastes, with pitch-perfect performances and synchronised dance moves from The Overtones, the chance to rock with The Bon Jovi Experience, and Legend: The Music of Bob Marley will be bringing reggae to Crawley, direct from the West End. There are also tributes to Tina Turner, The Eagles and Take That to look forward to. Plus 90s Live will have audiences reliving the era of bucket hats, boy bands and Brit Pop, while later in the season, The Chicago Blues Brothers are back, bigger, bolder and better than ever!

Tickets are already selling fast for the “sexiest musical ever” (Metro), Chicago.  Starring Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer and TV star Janette Manrara (It Takes Two, Burn The Floor, Glee), Darren Day  (Joseph, We Will Rock You, Doctors, Celebrity Big Brother)  and Sinitta. Created by the musical theatre talents of John Kander, Fred Ebb and legendary choreographer Bob Fosse, Chicago’s sexy, sassy score with one show-stopping song after another includes Razzle Dazzle, Cell Block Tango, and All That Jazz.

There is more incredible dance to look forward to from Strictly Come Dancing winners Dianne Buswell and Vito Coppola with their sizzling new show, Dianne and Vito: Red Hot and Ready, presented by Burn The Floor. Expect a cast of multi-disciplined dancers bringing audiences the ultimate high-voltage dance extravaganza.

As always, The Hawth maintains its place as one of the top venues for comedy in the South East. Sara Pascoe is back with I Am A Strange Gloop, a brand new show about parenthood, sleep deprivation and feeling like a puddle on the floor. Babatunde Aleshe guides us through family life, new-found fame and the joys of Costco in High Expectations, and Chris McCausland will make three appearances with his show Yonks in June and September. There are extremely limited tickets left for all dates, so book now to avoid disappointment.

For those looking to keep children entertained, there’s the chance to introduce little ones to the joys of music with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Noisy Kids in the Studio. Rude Science offers up fun and education with enormous bottoms, snot cocktails, and pee-powered fireworks to delight young audiences and inspire a fascination with science. For the very young, there is Bing’s Birthday – with beautiful puppetry, music and songs, this is the perfect introduction to theatre for those who love Bing Bunny, Flop and all their friends.

The family fun continues as the Outdoor Theatre Season kicks off with Professor Slug’s House of Bugs, offering children aged three and older the chance to help an eccentric invertebrate expert care for puppet creatures and their bug-gy problems. Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore, children’s classic The Secret Garden, and Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor complete the alfresco line up in the beautiful woodland amphitheatre.

Last but not least, the Studio Drama Season continues with Where Is Mrs Christie?, Sherlock Holmes: The Last Act, Mrs Churchill: My Life With Winston and That Knave, Raleigh.
