STAGE COMBAT COURSE: ACTORS COMBAT THEATRICAL TRAINING (ACTT)
Monday 16 – Friday 20 August, The Hawth Crawley
Hawth Creative is delighted to announce the first of it’s courses for Arts professionals at The Hawth this Summer. This Stage Combat Course offers performers the following options – Standard: (Unarmed, Single Sword, Rapier and Dagger), Intermediate, Advanced and Specialist
These courses will cover preparation, technical skills and their use on stage and screen. The exam at the end of the week is independently assessed by an external examiner, who will grade the understanding, application and techniques demonstrated.
Regardless of personal experience, these exams must be taken in the following order:
- Standard level for participants with little or no experience, who have passed fewer than three ACTT Standard level exams
- Intermediate level for participants who have passed three Standard exams or a Basic exam with another organisation (proof will be required)
- Advanced level for participants who have passed three intermediate exams
- Specialist level for participants who hold their Advanced qualification.
