Spring Season at The Hawth Crawley

The Hawth’s new season has just been released and is packed with fantastic performances and events for audiences to enjoy.

If you love music there is sure to be something to delight you this Spring with sounds from almost every genre and multiple eras on offer throughout the season. There are shows paying tribute to Ed Sheeran, Roy Orbison, The Carpenters, Dolly Parton, Coldplay, Abba and Elton John, among others. Plus Gareth Gates will be paying tribute to the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and Legends: The Divas perform the music of three icons (Diana Ross, Whitney Houston and Beyonce Knowles) over six decades.

For those looking to enjoy a classical offering, there are recitals from Ensemble Reza in the Studio and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra returns with Celebrating The Spring, playing the music of Grieg, Vaughan-Williams, Johann Strauss II, Delius and Beethoven. Opera will also be making a comeback with English Touring Opera returning with The Capulets and the Montagues for one night only and Puccini’s La Bohème taking to the stage with Ellen Kent’s award-winning production.

The timeless love story, the Oscar-winning film and now a musical classic – the global smash hit Ghost the Musical comes to The Hawth for one week only from Tuesday 25 February to Saturday 1 March. Featuring the The Righteous Brothers’ Unchained Melody alongside more terrific songs. Experience all the romance and magic of the classic story brought to life on stage.

Meanwhile, there are lots more great nights out to be had with tickets for Queenz: Drag Me To The Disco already selling fast. Plus there is magic to amaze all ages in Illusion: Impossible and the chance to spend the evening enjoying some of the greats from the world of sports, music and television – there’s An Evening with Sir Geoff Hurst, Aled Jones: Full Circle and Craig Revel Horwood will be showing off his remarkable singing voice in a fab-u-lous night of big songs, tall tales and glamour during Revelations – Songs Boys Don’t Sing.

As ever, comedy plays a huge part in the Spring season. There are well-known names and new faces all ready to make audiences laugh. Jacob Hawley’s new show in the Studio offers politics for idiots, feminism for lads, love stories for louts and lots more, Lucy Porter’s new show, No Regrets is selling fast as is Jason Manford’s A Manford All Seasons, so grab those tickets quick and while you are at it be sure to book for Lou Sanders: No Kissing in the Bingo Hall, Russell Hicks: Happy To Be Here and Nabil Abdulrashid’s Urban Battuta.

If you have little ones to entertain we have you covered with Story Time and Bedtime Stories in the Studio with author Steven Lee. There’s Dinosaur World Live for adventurous little ones and The Gruffalo is the perfect chance for Julia Donaldson and Axel Schefler fans to go exploring in the deep dark wood. Tom Fletcher’s interactive adventures will be leaping from page to stage too as the beloved, Who’s In Your Book? series makes its debut as a brand new musical show, There’s A Monster in Your Show.
