Ian Stone is a hugely experienced broadcaster, podcaster and writer and a brilliantly funny comedian. He performs at major comedy festivals and venues globally. After a stint in Edinburgh the summer of 2025, Ian brings his most recent show ‘Looking for the Wow’ to Tonbridge for one night. Life can’t just be the humdrum, the mundane and the routine before the inevitable slide to disease, decay and death. In his show Ian asks why we can’t sneak in a bit of awesome, a tad of amazing and maybe a smidge of wonderful?
SHOWSTOPPER! THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL
Thursday 26th & Friday 27th February | Tickets: £26, £22 Age 12+
Spontaneous musical comedy at its absolute finest – direct from the West End and now returning to Tonbridge! A brand new musical comedy is created from scratch at each performance of this award-winning show as audience suggestions are transformed on the spot into all-singing, all dancing productions with hilarious results.
An Edinburgh Fringe phenomenon, Showstopper begun life as an improvisation workshop in 2008. The show quickly gathered pace and secured financial backing after some time at The Kings Head Theatre, Islington. From there, the show has gone from strength to strength and in the Autumn of 2015, it became the first longform improv show to have a full run in London’s West End. The show now plays monthly at the Cambridge Theatre, London and tours the UK.
