Internationally acclaimed, multi -award winning circus company Circa (The Return, Opusat the Barbican; Beyondat London Wonderground) wrench back the curtain with Close Up. Andy Zalzman: Political Animal

The Udderbelly.

The show comes to Udderbelly to bring a satirical eye to a very naughty planet. It’s hosted by Andy Zaltzman, ‘firmly in the vanguard of British stand-up’ (BBC). Past guest appearances include Frankie Boyle, Daniel Kitson, Stewart Lee, Jeremy Hardy, Chris Addison, Russell Howard and Richard Herring. Andy is known as one half of the global smash hit topical podcast The Bugle, which he hosted alongside John Oliver.

His most recent show, Satirist for Hire, plays monthly to a full house at the Soho Theatre and has been described as ‘deliciously daft and occasionally Pythonesque’ (Evening Standard). He also performs regularly on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and BBC Radio 5’s 7 Day Saturday.

Austentatious: An Improvised Jane Austen Novel
