Evolution, the producers of the year’s Hawth pantomime Sleeping Beauty auditioned over 200 
local dancers for their juvenile teams at The Hawth last week. After putting all the hopefuls through their paces, 23 girls were selected to appear alongside TV star, Stephen Mulhern, impressionist Hilary O’Neil and CBeebies’ Cat Sandion in the smash-hit show, Sleeping Beauty.
Producer Emily Wood was overwhelmed by the response from the local performers. Emily said, ‘We had an incredible turn out, we expected a good number as last year we had more than 100 dancers audition, but this year we’ve doubled that! The talent here is amazing and everyone was at such a high standard it was hard to whittle it down to just 23 but we’ve definitely got the right girls – great dancers and they really gave their all, which is just what we need to make Sleeping Beauty the best pantomime ever.’
Among those chosen were Zoe Carl from Forest Row who is both excited and delighted, and looking forward to the fun beginning in December!
