25 years of Mamma Mia the Musical
Next month the original production of Mamma Mia celebrates 25 years of breaking records in the West End making it the only 3rd musical in the third musical in the history of the West End, to reach this milestone.
It premiered in London’s West End in 1999, and since then has become one of the world’s mega musicals, a hit film (with a sequel) and a fan base of many thousands. A staggering 70 million people having seen it worldwide.
