The Welcome Building situated next to the Congress is a true jewel for the town which includes Café and bar with stunning views across the lawn tennis courts of the famed Eastbourne Devonshire Park, plus seating has recently been installed on the terrace at the front of the building giving views across the cultural hub of Eastbourne.
But in addition to this there’s also two large and wonderfully adaptable spaces available for hire for a huge variety of possible events on the lower floor, and a new VIP lounge is in the process of being created especially for pre-theatre and interval event hospitality.
There are break-out spaces available for smaller events, and even a first floor covered outdoor terrace offering a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a glass of something and a canape before heading into see a world-class production at the Congress Theatre.
The venue links directly to the historic Winter Garden which was recently refurbished creating a hugely adaptable space for all manner of events.
Currently the Winter Garden is scheduled to host Drag Bingo night (5 Dec), 90’s Anthems with Jo Whiley (23 Apr), Ceilidh the Musical (24-29 Nov), Christmas party dinner and music nights (11, 12 & 18 Dec) and even Rammlied (19 Mar) the tribute to the original Neue Deutsche Härte band themselves, Rammstein. But it also hosts weddings, proms and dance events!
